To replace the variator on a Gilera DNA 50, open the transmission cover located near the rear wheel on the left side of the bike. Once the cover has been opened by unscrewing the fastening bolts, unscrew the central nut of the variator so it can be removed from its housing and freed from the drive belt. This will allow you to insert the new variator, securing it with the corresponding nut, reinserting the belt, and securing the cover.
