To replace the timing belt on the Gilera RC 600, you need to remove the seat of the motorcycle to access the screws that secure the fairing on the left front side of the bike. Once these screws are removed, you can detach the panel and access the pulleys of the camshafts and the crankshaft. You will need to unscrew the screws that secure the protective cover of the crankshaft pulley: this will allow you to loosen the central nut of the pulley, reducing the tension on the belt and replacing it with a new one.
