How to Tint the Taillights of a GMG Sierra

Let's see how to customize the taillights of a GMG Sierra by tinting them dark. Before proceeding, gather a pair of rubber gloves, denatured alcohol, a roll of paper, and spray paint designed for tinting lights. Start by removing the pair of taillights from the vehicle, first unscrewing the screws that hold each light assembly and then the bulb holder for each light. Take the taillights to a sheltered area, preferably at room temperature, placing cardboard underneath to avoid mess. Pour some alcohol onto a piece of paper and clean the entire surface of the light, removing dirt and old paint, then wipe off any excess with another piece of paper. Once done, wait about half an hour for everything to dry. Put on the gloves and grab your spray can. Always follow the instructions on the outside of the package; usually, you will need to shake it vigorously to mix the product inside. Do a test spray on a small part of the cardboard support to adjust the spray distance and application speed. Then apply horizontal and even coats on the lights. Depending on the product, two or three coats will achieve the desired effect. Allow to dry according to the can's instructions, then repeat the process with additional coats applied perpendicularly to the previous ones to ensure even coverage. Once everything is dry, reinstall the taillights by reversing the disassembly procedure.
