GMC Sierra - Video tutorial

Model: GMC Sierra MK 3 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Radiator
Operation: How do you replace the radiator of the GMC Sierra?

In order to replace the GMC Sierra radiator, you have to open the hood, so that you can have access to the grille in the front of the engine compartment. The latter must be removed by detaching the special fixing rivets, so that the underlying radiator can be accessed. By disconnecting the pipes and connectors connected to it and unscrewing all its fixing bolts, the radiator can be extracted from its housing and replaced with a new spare part. After installing the new radiator, the grille can also be re-attached.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
