To change the engine oil of the Harley Davidson Sportster 1200, you will need to loosen the drain plug located at the bottom of the oil sump: once this plug is removed, you can allow all the oil to drain into a suitably positioned container. You can then remove the oil filter from the bottom of the bike to replace it with a new one; after replacing the filter, proceed to top up the oil. Insert the necessary amount of oil through the filler on the right side of the bike.

How to Replace the Engine Oil in the KTM Duke 390?

As you can see in this tutorial, replacing the engine oil in the KTM Duke 390 is a very simple and quick task. Before proceeding, wait until the engine is completely cold to work safely. Start by placing a container underneath the bike, then locate the drain plug on the lower left side and unscrew it with a socket wrench. Once all the oil contained in the engine has drained out, open the filter housing cap, replace the filter, and reassemble everything. Finally, insert new oil through the designated upper hole.
