Today, you will disassemble the carburettor on a 1991 Harley Davidson Softail. Remove the carburettor, disconnect the air, throttle cables, and the fuel line. Unscrew the outer bolts of the engine (one is accessed through a hole in the frame). The rocker covers will come off in two pieces; otherwise, they won't fit through the frame. Once these are removed, you will reach the cylinder heads. The outer bolts will come off easily, but the inner ones are very tight, so be careful and apply force! Now remove the combustion chamber and then the cylinder. Work on the second cylinder group, knowing that the lower cylinder is difficult to remove due to limited space between it and the frame.
