How to Replace the Battery of the Harley Davidson Iron?

To replace the battery of the Harley Davidson Iron, loosen the screws securing the seat and those fixing the left side panel located directly beneath it. Once these parts are removed, you can loosen the bolts securing the battery in its housing and move any obstructing cables.

This will allow you to extract the battery from its housing and replace it with a new spare part.

After the new battery is installed and connected, remount the seat and the side panel.

Before proceeding, ensure that the key is not inserted for safety. Start by unscrewing the single bolt securing the seat, then remove the left plastic cover by unlocking the relevant clips. Next, remove the 3 fuses, disconnect the 2 terminals starting with the negative, and unscrew the bolt of the mounting bracket. At this point, you can extract the old battery, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
