To replace the battery of the Harley Davidson Sportster, remove the seat by pulling it back and lifting it upwards. Once the seat is removed, you can access the components underneath: disconnect all connectors and remove the side cover of the battery. After unscrewing the screws that secure the battery at the top, you can extract the unit sideways and replace it with a new part. After the replacement, reinstall the seat.
