Release the cover cap on the left fork. Unscrew the bolt located at the rear and proceed to remove the components. Then, remove the brake caliper by extracting the bolt and disconnecting it from the hoses. Repeat the same process on the right side, unscrewing the bolt and then extracting the central support bar, using a hammer if necessary. You can now remove the front tyre from its seat. For the rear tyre, remove the lower part of the exhaust and then proceed to unscrew the bolts and their respective pins. You can now also remove the rear tyre.

How to Replace the Remote Battery in a Ducati

As shown in this tutorial, replacing the battery in the Ducati Monster 821 is an extremely simple and quick task. First, ensure the key is not inserted. Then locate the plastic cover at the bottom, just below the rear shock absorber, and remove it by unscrewing the respective side screws. If necessary, remove the seat to gain more working space. Once you have access to the battery, disconnect both terminals, support it through the indicated hole, and unscrew the lower fixing bolts. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
