As shown in this tutorial, replacing the clutch cover on the Harley-Davidson Sportster Derby is a very simple and quick operation. First, lift the left side of the bike slightly to minimise oil loss. Next, remove the footpeg and start unscrewing the screws securing the cover, using a Torx T27 key and following a star pattern. Once done, remove the cover, position the replacement one, and tighten the bolts following the same pattern. To ensure a better grip of the screws, apply some thread lock.
