Replacing the engine oil in the Yamaha TMAX 530 scooter, as we can see in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then we place a container under the scooter, locate the drain hole bolt and unscrew it using a 17mm wrench. We then wait for the oil to drain out of the system, unscrew the old filter using a strap wrench and tighten the replacement. At this point, all that's left is to reassemble everything and pour the new oil through the designated hole.

Once the cover has been removed, the underlying filter can be located: it must be removed from its seat by loosening the fixing screws and pulling it out from inside its housing. After the old filter has been removed, the new replacement piece can be installed, securing it in place with the screws and reinstalling the removed cover.
