To replace the battery on a Harley Davidson Softail, loosen the screws securing the seat on both sides of the bike. Once all screws are loosened, you can remove the seat to access the components underneath.

You will also need to detach the side panel located on the right side of the vehicle, just below the seat. Underneath, you can unscrew the fixing screws of the battery protection panel, remove it, and disconnect the cables.

Finally, extract the battery from its housing, insert a new one, and ensure everything is functioning correctly.
