To replace the headlamp on a Harley Davidson Softail, use a tool to pry off the chrome trim surrounding the headlamp. Once the trim is removed, unscrew all the securing screws underneath, which will allow you to pull the headlamp out of its housing. By disconnecting the rear connector, you can completely remove the headlamp and connect the new one to the connector; at this point, secure the new headlamp with the screws and refit the trim.

In order to replace the headlight bulb of the Kymco Downtown 300i, it is necessary to loosen the screws that secure the panels located at the front of the vehicle fairing: once the fixing screws of these panels have been loosened, those on the inside of the front fairing can be unscrewed, so that the latter can be removed from its housing. Now it will be possible to proceed by unscrewing the screws that secure the corresponding headlight, disconnecting the connector and removing the bulb inside; in this way the fairings can be reinstalled.
