To change the motor oil of a Honda CRF 450, start by positioning the motorcycle on a stable and flat surface, preferably with a stand that keeps it in vertical balance. Warm up the engine for a few minutes: slightly warm oil will flow more easily, making draining easier. After turning off the engine, locate the oil drain plug, located under the crankcase, and place a container underneath it to collect the used oil. Using a suitable wrench, loosen the plug and carefully remove it, allowing the oil to drain completely from the engine. Wait until the flow stops, making sure to collect all the used oil. Once the engine is completely drained, reinsert and tighten the drain plug, avoiding excessive force. At this point, locate the upper fill plug and pour in the new oil according to factory specifications. Once filled, close the plug, start the motorcycle, and let it run for a moment, checking that the oil flows correctly and checking for any leaks.
