You can replace the air filter on a Honda Transalp XL 750 by loosening the screws that secure the panels on either side of the fuel tank: this will allow for the removal of the tank itself, which can then be lifted and disconnected from the underlying pipes and connectors. At this point, locate the screws that secure the filter box underneath, which should be opened to extract the filter from its seat: the new filter can now be inserted, after which close the box and reposition the tank.
