In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the side fairings on the Yamaha R6, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we identify the plastic rivets indicated, then unlock them using, for example, a small screwdriver with a flat tip. We then unscrew the various fixing bolts using a 4mm hex key, disconnect the turn signal power connector and separate the fairing from the frame. Finally, we repeat the operation on the opposite side, if necessary, and install any replacement parts following exactly the reverse procedure.
