If the speedometer on your Honda SH150 scooter isn't working, it could be the speedometer cable, which connects to a drive from the front wheel that turns the mileage wheel on the instrument panel, or the drive itself not turning with the wheel, failing to send the impulse to the cable, which doesn't turn and fails to communicate movement to the instrument panel. In this specific case, it wasn't the drive's fault but the wheel itself. Inside the hub, there are two teeth that drive the gear, providing motion to it. One of these had broken, causing the drive to remain stationary and not transmit motion to the cable.
