How to remove the ignition switch on a Honda Civic? In this guide, learn how to proceed: before removing the ignition switch, disconnect the battery power cables. Unscrew the fastening screws of the side and lower cover of the steering wheel with a socket spanner or screwdriver, then remove the screws using a screwdriver. Once the plastics are removed, unscrew the fastening pin of the ignition switch. After extracting the lock, replace it with a new one. Refit the new ignition switch by reversing the disassembly steps.
