How do you reset the Service light on the Honda Civic?

To ensure that the Service light disappears completely from the instrument panel of the Honda Civic, you can do so by turning on the vehicle's instrument panel, turning the ignition key inside the ignition switch: once the instrument panel is turned on, you can repeatedly press the SELECT button located on the left side of the dashboard until the voice with the remaining oil life is displayed. When this is shown, you will need to hold down the SELECT button for a few seconds to reset the light; at the end of the procedure, you can turn it off.
