How to Replace the Remote Battery in a 2016 Honda Civic

This article explains the procedure to replace the remote battery in a 2016 Honda Civic. No tools are required for the replacement. First, remove the emergency key by pressing the button located beneath the Honda logo. While holding the button, pull the key outwards. Once the emergency key is removed, insert it between the two clips at the bottom as shown in the tutorial video. Then, push down to remove the cover. Once the cover is removed, you will have access to the CR2032 battery. Lift it out to remove it, then replace it and refit the key.
