When you try to open the vehicle with the remote key but find that the door does not open, the key battery is likely dead, so you need to replace it by following the instructions below: First, press the small button on the back with your nail to extract the emergency key. Then, use the emergency key to pry between the remote cover and the base to open it. Under the cover, you will find the battery compartment; use your nail to help remove it. Take the new battery and place it in the compartment, ensuring the positive terminal is facing up. Then, take the remote cover again and reposition it, and finally, insert the emergency key.
