How to Replace the Shift Knob on a Honda Fit?

Model: Honda Fit GK6, GK7, GK5, GK4, GH7, GP5, GP6, GK3 - Years 2013-2019

To replace the shift knob on a Honda Fit, lower the leather cover at the base of the lever. Once this is done, grasp the knob and turn it counterclockwise. After the knob is completely unscrewed, remove it from the top of the lever to insert a new replacement part. This should be positioned and secured properly so that you can raise the leather boot back up. After the replacement, ensure that the knob does not cause any issues during gear shifts.
