How to Reset the Engine Oil Maintenance Light on a Honda Fit

The video shows the steps to reset the engine oil change light after performing the necessary maintenance. Get in the vehicle, insert the key, and turn it to the first position to power on the instrument cluster without starting the car. At this point, you will notice a small knob above the display. Press the knob several times to scroll through the menu options; scroll until you select the "oil life" option, then hold the button for more than 10 seconds and release it when you see the text flashing. Now press the button again and hold it for more than 5 seconds; the text will stop flashing and the light will disappear. The reset is complete; to verify success, simply turn off and turn on the car's instrument cluster.
