How to restore the service light on the 2012 Honda Civic

In this article, we will see how to reset the maintenance light on the 2012 Honda Civic. The procedure is simple and takes less than 1 minute to complete. To reset this light, you need to start the instrument panel, then press the button at the top on the left side of the steering wheel to clear the notifications. After clearing the notifications, press the menu button on the steering wheel, then press the up arrow button to select the vehicle information option, confirm by pressing the source button. Now, select the maintenance info option, pressing the source button again. At this point, from the menu that appears, select the oil and filter option, confirming with the source button. You will be asked if you want to reset, confirm by selecting yes. At this point, the reset will be complete, the service information will be restored, and the light will no longer be present on the dashboard.
