Installing LED Rear Lamp

Model: Hyundai Genesis BH - Years 2008-2016

To carry out this modification, first remove the rear lamps from the vehicle and, once placed on a workbench, completely disassemble them to install the mask inside along with the LED lights: these masks or covers (tail) and LED lights are available in the aftermarket or at specialised tuning shops. Once the rear lamp is disassembled, apply the mask inside the glass; modify the bulb holder to accommodate the LED support by drilling a hole for the power cables. Then attach the bulb holders to the lamp support, make all electrical connections, and check the lights before completing the assembly of the lamp. Insert the original bulbs (stop, indicator, and reverse) and connect the LEDs in place of the position lights (optionally connect them to the indicators as well). Seal the lamp with silicone applied along the edges.
