Differential Oil Replacement

Replacing the differential oil will ensure that the gears are always well lubricated, preserving them from wear. The differential is easily accessible, and you can see the two half shafts exiting sideways along with the respective oil fill and drain plugs; position a container to catch the oil under the differential, first unscrew the front fill plug (if oil comes out, it means it is still at level) and then the lower drain plug; once the oil has drained, clean the plug of any metal shavings and screw it back in; then fill the differential with clean oil until it overflows from the plug and screw it back in.
