This video shows how and where to identify the body colour code on a Hyundai IX20: on the driver's door frame, you will find a metal plate that also includes the full chassis number of the vehicle. Note that this is not the legal chassis number but only the identification plate from the end of production. The plate is divided into two parts: in the first part, there is a line at the bottom that states two terms: PAINT and TRIM: this identifies the colour code of the paint and the code for the interior upholstery, which are listed in the line below: PAINT= HAT and TRIM=EQ. These codes can be identified by any bodywork specialist.
