In this video, we see how to adjust the handbrake of our Hyundai I30. Using a screwdriver, we remove the cover inside the armrest to uncover the screws, and then we remove the plastic cover through which we can access the adjustment screw for the handbrake, without having to remove the entire console. We see that the screw is very loose, so we manipulate the handbrake lever, but it should not have more than 3 or 4 clicks. Using a wrench, we tighten the screw until we reach the desired tension, performing some tests. Once we have reached the desired tension, we can put the plastic cover and the mat back inside the armrest.
