If we want to carry out a do-it-yourself intervention to replace the air filter on the car, we will find the necessary information in this video and in this description. The first thing to do is to obtain a new filter that has the same specifications as ours and that is compatible with the car, then open the bonnet and locate the box containing the filter in the upper part of the same near the windshield. To open the box it is necessary to release the metal hooks on the sides, lift the lid and we will have access to the filter housing which we can then remove and insert the new one. Then reposition the cover and reattach the steel fixing pins, close the bonnet and the job is completed.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
