After lifting the hood, locate the battery housing on the right side. Use a socket wrench to remove the mounting nuts from the support bracket above. Then disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Remove the old battery and replace it with the new one, then reconnect the positive terminal first and the negative terminal last, and finally reattach the mounting nuts for the metal plate above.
