Problems caused by diesel leaking on the Iveco Daily.

Model: IVECO Daily MK 2 - Years 1989-2000
Part: Checks and maintenance

This video is very interesting because it shows us the problems that dirty diesel can create on the engine of an Iveco Daily: despite the fuel being heavily contaminated with algae and dirt, the vehicle managed, albeit with difficulty, to bring the YouTuber home. In this case, the first thing to do is to act on the tank and disconnect the pipes, detach the float, clean the bottom of the tank and remove the fuel: the pre-filter that was installed shows some dirt deposits, then we blow into the pipes, both the supply and return ones. The vehicle we see in the video is quite "old", because if it had been of a more modern design, diesel in that condition would have destroyed the pump and injectors. However, we need to clean the diesel filter, unscrewing it and cleaning it, then clean the strainer inside the tank (where we find some real filth) and then reassemble it inside the tank. So let's never run on reserve and be very careful where we refuel: only quality diesel.

Timing Belt Replacement on Audi Q5

The timing belt on the Audi Q5 has reached its mileage limit, so what should you do? Let's go through the removal of the belts on the Q5. Open and lift the hood of the engine, then remove the engine soundproofing panel. Once these steps are completed, remove the plastic covers of the belts located on the left side of the engine. Loosen the second tensioner and slide the belt out of its seat. After installing the new belt, use a wrench to install the tensioner pulley, and tighten it until the belt has the correct tension (install both belts). Reinstall the covering plastics. Start and test the Audi Q5 engine.
