Where to Find and How to Replace the Cabin Filter of a Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

This guide shows how to replace the cabin filter of the Jeep Renegade. The first step is to remove the glove compartment and the side panel of the dashboard and unscrew the screws securing the drawer. Also unscrew the screws inside the glove compartment. Using a plastic trim tool, you can remove the glove compartment and expose the cabin filter housing. Unscrew the screws of the protective panel. On the top of the open compartment, there is a cover; once removed, you can replace the cabin filter by pulling it out. Be careful not to drop any debris and clean the compartment of any residue. At this point, you can install the new cabin air filter by inserting it into the housing; close the filter cover and reassemble the glove compartment following the same procedure as disassembly but in reverse.
