Disassembly gearbox on Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade BU, 520, MK 1 - Years 2014-2024

With a plastic lever (not iron!) Lift the lower frame of the gearbox, in order to detach it from its seat. Do this slowly, lifting a small portion at a time. While pulling it out, unplug the connector. If you only want to change the frame, just separate it from the headset with the help of a screwdriver, otherwise you can change the whole assembly by pulling it up, obviously after removing the knob. For this, the knob will be enough for you to pull and unscrew it slightly, with a little force, to get it out of the joint. In the same way, the new knob must be inserted by inserting it firmly into the attachment of the fore-end.
