In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the Kawasaki Z1000, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is completely cold, then place a container underneath it, locate the drain plug on the lower right side and unscrew it using a 17mm socket wrench. Let all the oil in the system drain out, then unscrew the old filter and tighten both the replacement and the plug. At this point, all that's left to do is pour the new oil through the top hole.
