It will be possible to disassemble the engine of the Kawasaki ZX 7R by loosening the screws that secure it to its housing in the lower central part of the frame: once the screws are loosened, you can proceed to disconnect the intake and exhaust headers, as well as disconnecting all the connectors. Then, you will need to loosen the screws that secure the cylinder head in order to remove it along with the valve cover and gain access to the cylinders: the pistons can be disconnected from the corresponding connecting rods, allowing access to the crankshaft and replacing all necessary components.
