The replacement of the motor oil on the KTM EXC-F 340 can be done by loosening the drain plug located in the central lower part of the oil pan: once this plug has been removed, it will be possible to drain all the used oil into a properly positioned container. Once all the oil has drained out, the oil filter must be removed from its housing and replaced with a new one: this filter is located on the left side of the bike. On the opposite side, there will be a vent from which to insert the necessary amount of new motor oil.
