Before starting, position your Kawasaki KX 250 vertically using a motorcycle stand. Before proceeding with the removal of the used engine oil, run the engine for a few minutes. Begin by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the lower engine cover, then remove the cover itself. Next, place a container underneath the oil drain nut to unscrew it. This will allow the engine oil to drain out. Once the engine oil has completely drained, re-screw the drain nut, then unscrew and remove the top-up nut. At this point, using a funnel, insert the new engine oil, then re-screw the top-up nut, and the replacement will be complete.
