First, we put our motorcycle on the center stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain plug located under the engine, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes. Then, we unscrew the oil filter cover, removing and replacing the small cartridge with a new one, as shown in the video. How do you replace the cylinder of the KTM EXC 250?

In order to replace the cylinder of the KTM EXC 250 it is necessary to loosen the side screws of the engine that connect the latter to the radiator through the appropriate pipes. Once these pipes have been disconnected, it will be possible to go and unscrew the screws that secure the cylinder to the lower part of the engine. Once the piece has been released, it will have to be gently extracted by pulling it out from the top without damaging the piston. Once the cylinder has therefore been removed, it will be possible to insert a new one by connecting it to the pipes and to the lower part of the engine using the appropriate screws.
