Before changing the oil, it is advisable to switch on and then heat the engine for a few minutes, so that the temperature of the circulating lubricant also increases, which in doing so will lose its viscosity and become more liquid during drainage. Unscrew the bolt that acts as a plug to the drain hole, well shown in the video, and collect the used oil in a container (and dispose of it correctly). Clean the drain plug before putting it back. Now unscrew the top cap of the oil pan and load the same quantity of leaked lubricant (if you do not know how much the required dose is, measure the discharged one).

How do you replace the air filter of the Kawasaki Z400?

In order to replace the air filter of the Kawasaki Z400, you need to loosen the side screws that secure the motorcycle seat to its housing: once these screws have been loosened, it will be possible to completely detach the seat from its housing so that the screws securing the tank can be located. Once these screws have also been loosened, it will be possible to lift it up and access the underlying components: the filter box present here can now be opened in order to completely remove the old filter and replace it with a new replacement piece.
