How to change the battery of the Kia Soul key

In today's article, we will show you how to replace the battery of the Kia Soul key. For this operation, you will need a small flathead screwdriver and a small Phillips screwdriver. To replace the battery, first open the key by pressing the appropriate button.

Now, using the flathead screwdriver, pry at the bottom of the back cover of the key. Once it is slightly lifted, remove it. Then, use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the 4 screws of the battery cover. Unscrew the 4 screws and remove the cover.

At this point, you will have access to the battery, extract it using the flathead screwdriver. Now, replace the battery, reinsert the cover, and screw in the 4 screws.

Finally, reinsert the back cover by applying pressure with your hands.
