How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System on a Kia Sportage

Let’s see how to reset the TPMS on a Kia Sportage 2010/2022, with some variations depending on the year of production or trim. After inflating all tyres to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer, drive the vehicle at a speed of about 50 mph and maintain this speed for about 10/20 minutes. The system will detect the new pressures and the light will turn off automatically. In slightly older models, there is a physical button located under the dashboard near the steering wheel (it may also be in the glove compartment). Hold it down until the light blinks three times, then drive for a few minutes. In more recent models, however, before driving for recalibration, go to the central screen and follow the path settings/vehicle/tyre pressure/TPMS/calibrate.
