How to turn off the tyre warning light on the Kia Sportage, Soul, Sorento, Stonic

The tyre warning light illuminates on the dashboard of the Kia Sportage (and similarly on the Soul, Sorento, or Stonic) for a puncture or a tyre that has lost pressure. A warning triangle also appears on the display. The first step is obviously to repair the puncture or inflate the tyre to the correct pressure. Then proceed with the reset operation: use the navigation (menu) button on the steering wheel and scroll to the icon with the spanner. Select tyre pressure (it may not appear immediately, so you might need to scroll down the menu to find it). The menu will then display "drive to view," so you will need to drive a few miles for the system to acquire data from the sensors, and the light will turn off permanently.
