How to change the battery and shell of a Kia/Hyundai car remote?

Model: Kia KIA Various
Part: Key

Let's see how to change the battery and the shell of a Kia/Hyundai remote: to change the battery, open the small cover on the back of the remote. Inside, you will find a common CR2032 button battery, which is easily available at any electronics store or supermarket. Be careful with the polarity when changing it, close it up, and you're done. To replace the shell (which can be found on Amazon with code B0C4JWTPTB for £12.99 with free delivery), remove the screw located under the Kia/Hyundai logo with a star screwdriver; separate the two halves of the key, disassemble the key's spring mechanism by turning it two turns clockwise to release the tension. Pay close attention to how the components are arranged before disassembling them, perhaps by taking a photo. When reassembling, ensure to give the spring two turns clockwise. Transfer the electronic board, reinsert the battery, and close it with its screw under the logo. That's it.
