Lift the vehicle with the appropriate jack and secure it. To easily remove the wheel, it is advisable to use proper socket wrenches with a long handle or the more efficient cross wrench. Once the wheel bolts are removed, you can easily take off the wheel.

Remove the spare wheel and before fitting it, clean the inside of the rim and the hub support thoroughly. When refitting the wheel, ensure to pay attention to the internal references for correct positioning.

Take special care when tightening the retaining bolts to avoid them loosening during driving. If the vehicle has a space-saver wheel instead of a full-size tyre, maintain speed below 50 mph and replace it as soon as possible.
