Removing the Door Panel for Replacement

Model: Kia Picanto 2A, MK 1 - Years 2004-2011
Part: Door trim panel

The tools needed for this operation are: a flathead screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, a Torx key, and a spatula. Remove the handle cover and unscrew the retaining screws. Also, unscrew all the screws from the panel and, using the spatula, gently remove the panel along the edges, carefully pulling it upwards. Carefully disconnect the electrical contacts by unplugging the connectors, taking care not to pull them. Refit the new panel starting with the connection of the electrical wires. Position the panel upwards and then push it down until it clicks into place. Reinsert the screws.
