How to Install Side Steps on the Kia Sportage

This video demonstrates how to install side steps on the Kia Sportage MK 4: you will need to lift the vehicle to fit the steps. These steps can be found on the website 4x4ar.com by selecting the brand, model of your vehicle, and year of manufacture. You can find various types of steps, ranging from £447.60 to £186.50 (including VAT). Unfortunately, there is no information on shipping costs. From underneath, you can see inserts that fit into the floorpan. This is where you will attach the bracket. To better distribute the load of the ramp, wooden blocks have been inserted on both sides. The bolt where the side step bracket will be inserted is shown, which goes deep into the chassis to ensure a secure grip, allowing the threaded bar to enter the floorpan.
