In this tutorial, see how to change the engine oil in a KTM 1190 Adventure, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the engine is cool enough, then position a container underneath the bike, locate the drain bolt, and loosen it using a socket spanner.

Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, then unscrew the secondary filter bolt and clean the filter of any dirt residue. At this point, simply open the cap of the main filter, insert the replacement, reassemble everything, and pour in the new oil through the designated hole.
