In this tutorial, see how to change the engine oil in the KTM 1190 Adventure, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the engine is cool enough.

Then, remove the lower cover and place a container underneath the bike. Next, unscrew the plugs of the two drain holes using a 13mm socket, allowing the oil in the system to drain out, and remove the secondary filter for cleaning.

At this point, open the housing of the main filter, insert the replacement, reassemble everything, and pour in the new oil through the upper hole.
