You will need to remove the engine of the KTM SX 125 from its housing to disassemble it, loosening the screws that secure it to the corresponding frame supports: this will allow you to proceed by loosening the screws that hold the cylinder in its housing and completely remove it. Once removed, you can take out the underlying piston from the corresponding connecting rod and proceed by loosening the screws that secure the lower crankcase halves: this will allow you to locate the crankshaft and possibly replace any other necessary components.

Once these screws are loosened, remove the panel to access the underlying filter. The old filter can be extracted, and a new one can be inserted into its housing.
