The front brake pads on an Aprilia RS 457 can be replaced by unscrewing the bolts that secure the caliper to the corresponding disc, allowing it to be removed: once the caliper has been removed, you can slide out the pin that holds the pads in their place.

At this point, remove the old ones to insert the new ones: these must be secured with the appropriate pin, so that you can then reposition the caliper onto the disc.
